MISSION STATEMENT

Christian International Counseling & Ministries (CICM) is a 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit organization based in Suwanee, Georgia, committed to serve to those in need through counseling, and low-cost immigration legal services. Rooted in the biblical call to “welcome the stranger”, CICM embraces a mission that addresses the legal needs of individuals and families experiencing hardship, displacement, or uncertainty.

We understand that immigration is not merely a matter of law and policy—it is a profoundly human and spiritual experience. Many immigrants and asylum seekers endure trauma, instability, and fear as they navigate complex legal systems. In response, CICM offers faith-based care and practical assistance to support those in need on their journey toward healing, stability, and legal recognition.

Immigration Legal Services

CICM is proud to be a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) recognized organization under the Office of Legal Access Programs (OLAP), as outlined in 8 CFR §1292.11. This recognition authorizes our accredited representatives to provide legal immigration services to underserved and low-income individuals without the need for an attorney, within the scope of the law.

We are committed to offering these services at significantly reduced rates to remove barriers for those who cannot afford private legal assistance. We guide our clients through every step of the process with competence, integrity, and compassion.

Need a work permit? Whether you qualify through asylum, TPS, DACA, or another category, we’ll help you complete your Employment Authorization application accurately and submit it without delay.

We assist with applying for or renewing TPS by checking your eligibility, filling out the forms, and keeping you updated on deadlines and policy changes related to your home country.

Seeking asylum? We help you with all related paperwork — from initial filings and work permits to court-related submissions and change of address forms — with compassion and confidentiality.

We help families stay together by assisting with petitions for relatives inside or outside the U.S. Our team guides you through the required forms, helps gather evidence of your family relationship, and ensures your petition is submitted correctly

Applying for a green card from within the U.S.? We support you every step of the way — from completing the application and collecting supporting documents to preparing for your interview, minimizing delays and mistakes.

Ready to become a U.S. citizen? We assist with the full naturalization process, including eligibility screening, application preparation, and interview coaching — so you feel confident and well-prepared.

My name is Serhii Pavlov. Today, I am a proud U.S. citizen—but I have never forgotten what it’s like to be in the shoes of a “fresh of the boat” immigrant in America.

I know firsthand the overwhelming burden of immigration paperwork, the fear of legal missteps, and the challenge of finding trustworthy, affordable legal counsel. I’ve seen too many vulnerable people—many of them fleeing war, persecution, or poverty. That experience is what shaped my calling. It led me to dedicate my life and career to serving others who are walking that same uncertain path.

Inspired by the timeless words of Emma Lazarus in The New Colossus— “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free…”— the Legal Department at Christian International Counseling & Ministries (CICM) was created to respond to that very cry for refuge, dignity, and justice. Motivated by this vision, at CICM, we strive to bring hope and legal support to immigrants and refugees across the United States.

In my role at CICM as an Authorized Officer & DOJ-Accredited Representative, I help individuals and families pursue lawful status, family reunification, safety, and dignity in the United States—often at the very moment they are most vulnerable. CICM is a DOJ-recognized organization under 8 CFR §1292.11, which empowers our team to provide affordable, legal immigration services to underserved communities.

I believe no one should have to face the immigration system alone—or be priced out of justice. That is why I do this work. That is why CICM exists!

Thanks to the accessibility of many immigration forms and procedures through the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) online system, we are able to assist individuals and families across the United States remotely. Through virtual consultations, secure document exchange, and personalized support, CICM brings Christ-centered immigration services to those who need them—no matter where they are.

In addition to immigration legal services, CICM provides Christian counseling, spiritual care, and referral-based social support to individuals navigating emotional distress, trauma, or family crisis. While our services are grounded in Christian values, we serve all people regardless of race, nationality, language, legal status, political views or religious affiliation.
